About the Kitted Team
The Dublin Rebels Football Program was founded in 1995 as a Flag Football team. In 2001 the club transitioned to a Senior Kitted club. All members of this team must be 18 years of age or older to participate. We are evaluating adding a Junior Team in the future. To read about the history of the Rebels, you can visit this page.
The Dublin Rebels compete in the Irish American Football League‘s top level competition, the Shamrock Bowl Conference. The regular season consists of 8 games, 4 home and 4 away. The season runs from March through July. The playoffs consist of 3 rounds and runs from July through early August.
We are able to train and develop talent to an extremely high level. This is proven by our consistent success over 21 years in the Shamrock Bowl Conference. We have regular position coaches for each group, with focus during each session on individual skills training.
Our training season begins in earnest in January of each year. Our training season ends when our season does, typically in August. If we have an international game in the Atlantic Cup, practices run through the end of September.
